Inhabitants from different generations in Ginoza village on Okinawa island fascinated filmmaker Daniel López, who was born and raised in Switzerland with Spanish origins. Observing the young and the old, he portraits century-old customs that they try to keep alive in their everyday lives. This documentary takes us on a calm ride through the eyes of a lion-dog that watches over the village to protect the people and repel evil spirits.
